Located next to Letterfrack in the Connemara region, you will have a tourist office with brochures and maps of the park. Nevertheless, there are a lot of French tourists in here, it is because of a very famous french song which talks about the lake.
There are also all necessary amenities (cafeteria, toilets, picnic tables etc ...). As for hiking in itself, know that there are three circuits: a small, a medium and a longer one that allows for the latter to reach the top of the Diamond Hills mountain (count 3h round trip). Lovers of hiking, you will not find sporting challenges here but do not miss this walk because the flora and fauna around is really worth the detour!
